Organizational design as a competitive advantage in the digital era
Certainly technology and digital tools are at the center of most evolution shifts in customer experience. Without any regard the implementation of digital platforms is a basic requirement in winning in the market strategies. However we tend to overshadow the fact that at the end of the day digital transformation happens, or not, at an organizational level. So to say, since organizations are wired to deliver on a business model, if that business model changes so does the organizational design. But does this happen? Unfortunately the answer is no.
